Summer Activity 2020
Nuestro camino
Come and join our summer activity and accept the virtual challenge to journey along the Camino de Santiago. The Virtual Challenge will take you 480 miles (772 km) along the pilgrims’ ways leading to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
We will travel along the way together and there will be competition between groups/teams. Each time you complete a distance based exercise activity such as running, walking, cycling etc you will enter this to your group total in the online app we will use, and advance along the map from France to Spain as well as cultural challenges.
For this challenge we are setting a deadline of 8 weeks across the summer vacation from classes and you can do it solo or as a team of up to 7 members. Cross the finish line and you will be rewarded!
A nominal entrance fee of £25 per person will ensure your participation.
Places are limited so please let me know by July 13th if you wish to join and nominate your group.
If you would like to work with a group but not sure let me know and I can allocated you to a group.
